Epic Interiors, LLC was established in 2000 by Robert Epifano, Jr. and John Epifano, along with Vice President and General Manager, John Robbins. Epic Interiors, LLC promotes and values a strong organizational and team culture in our workplace and a commitment to client satisfaction based on integrity and stewardship. Each new effort reinforces our foundation of experience, which enables Epic Interiors to provide responsive solutions to the challenges of the design and construction process.

Our management team, each with multiple years of experience in the industry, has the ability to execute projects from design to completion while communicating with our clients seamlessly along the way.

Our field staff are highly skilled craftsmen with countless projects under their belts, leaving no detail untouched.  We are a group of committed individuals who give respect to and receive it from everyone on the job.

John Robbins

John Robbins

Vice President & General Manager

A thirty-two year employee of Epic, Mr. Robbins offers forty-five years of experience in the construction industry. He has fulfilled various roles including carpenter, carpenter foreman, general foreman, superintendent, superintendent of manpower and site manager.

A dedicated member of Carpenters Local 31, John Robbins brings a wealth of expertise to every project. He completed 4 years at the Carpenters Apprentice School and holds 40 hours of OSHA Construction and Safety Training. His project experience spans a diverse range, including managing the Union City High School and Parking Garage Project, overseeing the $200M ImClone BB50 Pharmaceutical Plant fit-out, and serving as Project Manager at Eli Lilly’s Branchburg campus. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality, Mr. Robbins has consistently delivered successful projects across education, healthcare, and commercial sectors.

Anthony Policastro

Anthony Policastro

Project Manager

Mr. Policastro has thirty three years construction experience including twenty-nine with Epic.  As a project manager focusing primarily on interior renovations, his project management experience includes a great variety of project types and sizes, predominantly undertaken with challenging schedule requirements in and around occupied facilities.

Mr. Policastro is extremely collaborative and detail-oriented. He exemplifies a do-whatever-it-takes, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to meeting and exceeding the specific goals of each and every client.

With a focus on healthcare, education, and commercial spaces, his portfolio includes notable projects such as the $172M Rutgers University Livingston New Housing Project and the $16M St. Anne Villa Assisted Living Facility. His ability to manage complex projects from start to finish is supported by his strong leadership skills and a commitment to safety, as evidenced by his OSHA 30 certification. Prior to his construction career, Mr. Policastro served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps (1987-1991).

Casey Foley

Casey Foley

Project Manager

Mr. Foley joined the Epic team in 2020 and has quickly proven his proficiency with strong communication and organizational skills. He provides technical direction to design, engineering, and production teams throughout  project stages. His hard work and dedication shows with his expertise in supervising personnel and estimating labor.

Chris Policastro

Chris Policastro

Estimator

Mr. Policastro has been with Epic for twenty-six years since joining us as an intern while finishing his degree at NJIT.  He worked for three years as an estimator for our G.C. division and has now been estimating for Epic Interiors for the past twenty-four years working on projects anywhere from $25,000 to $50M. He has acquired a thorough knowledge of building systems, creating a solid estimating and value engineering base.  The largest value engineering savings are at the early stage of design and has very strong conceptual estimating ability. He leads all Epic Interiors estimates and provides budget estimating when needed.  Mr. Policastro utilizes on-screen takeoff software to ensure accuracy in estimates. He maintains a historical database for purchase orders, subcontracts and productivity analysis reports for use in preparation of estimates.

He is OSHA 30 certified. His past projects include notable works such as the Prudential Restack in Newark, the Seaman Avenue Elementary School in Perth Amboy, and the Montreign Resort Casino in Monticello.

Charles Hanson

Charles Hanson

Director of Safety

Charlie Hanson has been providing safety services for both general industry (under CFR 29-1910 regulation) and the construction industry (under CFR 29-1926 regulation) since 1995. This included developing and implementing companywide safety programs.  In conjunction with these professional responsibilities Mr. Hanson has been a certified emergency medical / hazmat response technician for eighteen years. Mr. Hanson also provides OSHA safety and first aid training to employees and to the general public.
