Project scope: Epic Interiors worked with an aggressive 45 day schedule to complete FDU’s Animation Lab’s floor-to-ceiling renovation and upgrade for the spring 2021 semester. The enlarged modern space allows students to use state-of-the-art technology in an energetic environment. The optimized room layout incorporates a glass-enclosed 3D printing booth, duel high-resolution teaching monitors, upgraded computers with duel drawing tablet/monitors on movable arms mounted on sit/stand desks. With the expansion of the Animation Lab, the room will now incorporate a flexible space to produce motion capture and virtual reality, as well as space to host group meetings.
