Project highlights: The four-level, precast concrete parking facility provides 246 spaces for both the Village of Ridgewood’s downtown area and commuters using the train station. It also includes a bicycle storage area. The garage features patterned precast concrete, blending the structure with the historic downtown area. Additionally, the structure serves as an easement, allowing cars to access the loading and parking areas of adjacent businesses.

Key elements: The garage operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with an automated “pay on foot” revenue collection system that ensures efficient, continuous operation. Extensive technology and camera equipment allow security operations to be closely monitored. Garage features include an oil-water separator, a generator with a three-day reservoir that can be filled from the exterior of the building, and a gate-less car counter system.
